This beautiful quilt was completely handmade and dates into the 1940's to 1960's era. All cotton.
It measures a large 99 x 100", large enough for a queen or king size bed.
Expertly hand appliqued with grapes, leaves and vines on a pale blue background. The pattern is similar to "Martha's Vineyard" and also "Grapes and Vine" which was designed by famed quilt designer, Marie Webster.
Handquilted at an amazing 11 stitches per inch, the hand quilting is lavish and covers the entire ground in small intervals and designs of grapewreaths.
Handbound.
Near Mint condition, no wear. We found two tiny finger-prick spots and show in the close-up. Very faint and hard to find.
Collector's quality, a gorgeous quilt that will be sure to become a family heirloom to pass thru the generations!
